About Quilting for Comfort
Quilting can provide relaxation and relief for persons' who are experiencing life changes, stresses and challenges. Making a quilt top and seeing the final outcome creates a sense of accomplishment.
Quilts can be made for oneself or others. Members of this group can choose to keep their quilt, give it to someone in need or donate the quilt.
Donation opportunities- Christmas Mall, memory quilts, nursing homes, children's homes, new babies, Quilts of Valor, etc.
We will study Women of the Bible focusing on support, comfort, giving, sharing and creativity.
Supplies needed:
seeing machine, well loved or brand new
scissors, thread, cutting mat, rotary cutter, quilting ruler & 1/4" sewing foot.
Quilts can be made for oneself or others. Members of this group can choose to keep their quilt, give it to someone in need or donate the quilt.
