SERVE: Hospital Visitation Support Group

“I was sick, and you visited Me” Matthew 25:36b. 

The Hospital Visitation Ministry exists to provide support and encouragement to our church members and families during a time of significant physical and mental stress. We are a caring ministry, involved in lessening the burden of hospital, nursing home or homebound visitation from pastors and life group leaders while providing them feedback after the visits. Those with a health care background or hospital chaplaincy are encouraged to join with the ministry but it is not limited to these groups, and all who have a gift of mercy and encouragement are welcome. We will provide some training and pair experienced individuals with those who need coaching. Visitations are generally done in pairs with same gender members of the group to same gender church members. Our resources consist of the Holy Bible, guidelines to visitation ministry put together by the group, and the 2023 New Life Church Prayer Guide. Group Meetings generally occur once a month though every other month during the Summer.
